Forest Hill Volunteer Fire Department announces National Fire Prevention Week success

All of us here at Forest Hill Volunteer Fire Department would like to say what a great time we had at our National Fire Prevention Week activities.

At our “Home Schooler’s Safety Day” Which was held on Oct. 4th 2010 Our Health and Safety Officer Lisa Stalnaker and our Public Information Officer Rebecca Stalnaker had a great time teaching Larry Skidmore, Aseanti Skidmore, and Daniel Stalnaker about fire safety, calling 911 and about running First Responder calls. We were also very happy to have Sheriff Dolphin with us to talk to the kids about street safety!

We also had a great time at our October Fest fundraiser held on Oct. 9th 2010 with all of the food, music, the pumpkin decorating contest and all of the great company!
